I would like to set the record straight
<eeg> about exactly how this wedding came to
be.
Speak with Nora and she'd probably say this was
all her doing because, after all, it was Sanctuary
where we all met and Nora is the reason for
Sanctuary.
Or speak with Sue who would say, "Methinks *I*
should get all of the credit since if *not* for
moi, ADWOFF would not have been born ... and BB/Ns
never would have gotten together."
Speak with JJ and she'll say ... "No no. I met
Lisa in a BB/N chat. I told her to e-mail Keith."
This is true. She did. Lisa did. The rest is
history.
HOWEVER, a case could be made for the fact that
I brought JJ to Sanctuary. This is also true, but
not the defining moment. The defining moment came
when Lisa e-mailed ME after she'd had an IM
conversation with Keith and asked (please forgive
my paraphrasing - it's been a while) "So, you've
met Keith ... is he as nice as he seems?"
This was a fabulous opportunity, no? I could
have said anything. ANYTHING. And though I'd met
Keith numerous times and spoken with him on the
phone (for hours at one point) I can't say that I
know him well. Hmmm. What to say? Well, I didn't
lie. I didn't make up terrible things about him and
I didn't make up glorious things. I told her the
absolute truth. I told our Lisa that Keith was one
of the most caring men I'd ever met and that I was
glad he was on the planet.
I rest my case. If I'd said he was Attila The
Hun maybe Lisa wouldn't have returned any e-mails
and the relationship wouldn't have grown. Lolol.
Yeah, I don't think so either. Kismet. Love
always finds a way.
