Yes, it was indeed fun. Arlene and I were stuck in traffic on 695 going into 95 North, would you believe almost 2 hours? We were literally crawling at less than 20 miles. Then, the heavens decided to open up and visibility was nil... yet, some people were still going over the speed of 70 plus. We were just thankful to get home safe and in one piece although there were some hairy moments on the NJ Turnpike what with the big rigs going by at maximum speed (how inconsiderate - this said with an English accent!!) and splashing water on your windshield so you are completely vision-impaired for at least 6 seconds!
It was nice to finally meet SUE! And CAROLYN and TRACY and DEBBIE.
And the other authors were great, well except for one, or two... who
were not too friendly. LLM and Pat G were funny. Ruth Langan was very
gracious - a veddy nice liedee.
Dan, Ruth and BW were very helpful and I spent way too much $$ on books! LOL, not that I'm complaining as I am going to be visiting with Eve, Roarke, Peabody and the others this morning. Thank God tomorrow is Saturday! And I still have 1 more week to read books. Playing catch up on my reading is FUN ...
We saw the Brits' version of Born in Ice and the two In Death books with pictures of Eve who definitely does not come close to the Eve we envision!!!
Sorry, this is too long.
