As always it was more than a pleasure to spend time with all of you this past weekend. And I am always too happy to put more faces and names together. I made sure Tanya had a good time as well ... she thinks all of you are hysterical of course, and had a fabulous time. It's good to get her away ... I know exactly what it's like to spend all your time at home with your little one's ... we all need a break from that once in a while. I spaced totally on the drive home from Harper's Ferry...turned to go to TTP again ... and didn't realize it until we were right there at the store <sigh> Ah well ... just a few minutes longer really once we were headed in the right direction ... and we drove through Middleburg (or is it Middletown?) again ... I love all those victorian houses along that drive. And ... I wanted to say to you all ... My Lady's Tutor ... sick, sick, sick. Edith ... put the book down now!!!! I heard all about the plot after I got back here ... and it is NOT what I'd call a good one. <bleck> Talk to you all soon ...
I was sitting, briefly, next to the porch lady ... but she was being so nasty to everyone I felt I just had to get up and stop sharing any kind of space with her at all.
No ... the erotica book posing as fiction was n-aa-aa--ssty as far as I'm concerned ... once I found out the premise behind everything ... I don't want to post because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who might want to read it.
Nina's The Boy is quite the hotty ... we've seen pictures!!! Oh my, oh my, oh my. <g> Nina and the banker have definitely improved the gene pool with that one!
Carolyn
OK ... spoiler ...

The book, The Lady's Tutor, is what Edith was reading from at TTP. The story line seemed to be that this woman hires this man to tutor her in the arts of seduction so that she can win back her husband. She has two children with this guy ... and knows he's spending all his time with a mistress. She wants to seduce him back away from the mistress. Edith surmised that since this was a romance, and she had a problem with the infidelity issue ... that the mistress must be a guy. Well ... turns out ... the mistress is not only a guy ... it's her father!! Her husband and her father belong to some secret society that marries off the daughters to the lover. So ... her father married her off to his lover ... <gross> Then ... apparently her mother knew all about the whole thing ... and they have also involved the woman's son. <gag> I don't personally find any of that remotely worth reading ... I think it's just kind of gross. That's just my opinion of course ... there are more than likely parts of that book that are just steamy ... I just don't like the plot that ties it all together ...
