Nora in Japan
This one dated 8-29 ...
Last day. Ahhh.
Yesterday I did several interviews with women's
mags. Targeting mid-20's. Most of the questions
dealt with love and romance and marriage. Lots of
personal questions about my own feelings toward
same. It seems that at this age women here feel a
lot of pressure to marry. What do I think about
that? What about career. How do you balance career
and family. Children. I was told after by the
young reporters that my words meant very much to
them. I am wise. It's just a little scary. They
feel because I write about relationships, and
strong women characters, I'm an expert on same. Ho
boy.
Had lunch with my single title publisher. In the
French restaurant here in the hotel, lovely little
private dining room.
Best part of the day was room service dinner and
the laser disc on Jurassic Park. LOL. Most relaxing
evening I've had in some time.
Today we have a brunch meeting, then the reader
event with the Nora Roberts' Cult Quiz. LOL. Should
be fun. They'll introduce BW. The readers are very
curious about BW.
Then they whisk us off the the airport. Next report
is from home, sweet home. God, I can't wait!
