Nora's Report from San Francisco, Night 2
Wow, I got to write with a diamond-encrusted 150 thousand dollar pen! It was heavy. LOL.The Mont Blanc reception was just lovely, and a great deal of fun. The World's Greatest Love Story is traveling the country, with an author starting each chapter, then regular people writing the rest. I have to say, the synopsis showed it taking some whacky turns.
The MB people were so gracious and friendly. After I wrote my line they gave me a gorgeous fountain pen--solid silver with a little pink sapphire heart. They're going to engrave it with my signature! Wow.
Rushed off to Borders for the event. What a fun crowd, and so understanding that I was a few minutes late. Zipped back to the hotel, ate a Caeser salad, went to bed. Book Tour: The New Diet.
Off to Cincinnati this morning. Long flight, but BW's at the end of it. I'm so looking forward to Sunday and my day off.
