Nora's Report from Madison, CT
DONE!!! Fun signing in CN yesterday, even if it took over two hours to get there, and two to get back. It was held at the Town Hall—such a cool venue. And downstairs we found the maintenance man and the TH puppy, the cutest little thing.
We had a really nice turn out, a fine way to cap off the tour.
One odd note. One of the women attending came to the signing table with a pack of old family pictures, said I should contact her if they meant anything to me. I took a glance, baffled, and asked should they mean anything to me. She wouldn't say. Well, they didn't. I don't know who these people are. LOL. Then she slipped back on her way out, showed me her driver's license, pointed to a name—Griffin, I think—said that was her maiden name and looked at me expectantly. Well, that didn't mean anything either, but she left without explaining. And left me with the old photos and a mailer.
I have no idea.
Anyway, got into NY, where they'd already moved my stuff to our new, big, beautiful suite. I ordered dinner and a bottle of champagne. I deserve it! LOL.
Woke up fairly early—habit—but talked myself into going back to sleep. Wonderful! Got a hour's work out in. I expect my family's on the way here even now. Yay!
I'm going shopping!!!!
