All BB/N's ,
I must say the Homeport signings in Houston area surpassed everything I was told. keishon(KET2567) told us the Northwest Mall signing was at 3:00 instead of 3:30 so after a 2 hr drive, DH and I arrived at 2:20 to find a line of around 40 people at Waldenbooks. The Queen arrived at 3:00 straight from the airport and started signing books. She was awesome. My DH estimated 250 people, with a average of 4 books each. Most had one copy of Homeport and some had 2 or more copies( one lady had 6 copies). Anyways got to met Keishen, that was a fun experince, also met Corey who is a aol member but didn't know about Nora being online and the Noraholics. Northwest Mall Waldenbooks employees were very friendly and helpful.
At 4:00 we left the mall, bound for Conroe, took us over a hour braving the traffic, snail pace at times to Hastings. By now I know the routine, I get in line while my DH get my reserved copy of Homeport. The Queen arrived at 6:00 signed my copy of Homeport as I was first in line <g >. WOW After she had signed all the Homeports in the store, A few of us that stayed visited with her and I gave Nora her survival kit. Got a big hug as we were leaving and she told me I need to hang on to DH he was great and a keeper. He was Nora's PR person at both signings, telling everyone of her up coming releases, online homepage and TTP and her tour, LOL I think he had as much fun as I did, LOL. We made it home by 10:00pm.
It was really awesome to finally meet The Queen of Romance!!!!!!!!
If you have a chance to go to one of her tour stops go its will worth the trip.
Sorry it took me so long to post but been playing catch up and running after a ADHD 5 yr old. LOL
