What a thrill it was to meet you yesterday. I was disappointed that we didn't get to talk ... but the store was packed and no one could move <thus bowing, curtsying or genuflecting was totally out of the question ... I would have knocked everyone over LOL>. Including you ... wedged in behind that table ... you were trapped LOL. Did you ever get out ?? <G> It's a good thing you don't get claustrophobic. I was lucky that the women ahead of me in line <who I took a picture for them -- with you> took one of me with you --- that was a great treat and I appreciate you taking the time to pose with me.

I absolutely Loved the store .. I will definitely be back to shop and visit on a Saturday when you don't have a signing. Dan and Ruth are great ... so willing to be of help ... of course you know that already. I'm so glad that the first amount Ruth had rung up was incorrect ... It was $3,000 ... instead of the $75 that I spent. ROTFLMAO ... My husband would have killed me and then had a stroke if I had spent that much. I had to chuckle about BW ... with his height ... he was the only one who could see what was going on in that crowd. <VBG> BTW ... who one the door prize ???????? If it was me ... I'd be happy to drive down next week to pick it up ... hint...hint <G> I also enjoyed meeting your friends ... picked up all their books and will be starting them after I finish yours.

However, I didn't purchase the book from the gentleman author. While standing in line I was chatting with him and suggested that if he had included a romance intertwined with the French & American War facts ... it would be a best seller (ala Titanic). He said he'd think about it. The elderly couple that was ahead of me in line indicated that they read your books for great romantic ideas. I almost fell over on that one !!!!! LOL See what your books do for marriages ... of all ages !!!!

BTW WHAT'S this about mouse pads ????? Can I buy one ... puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese ... pretty puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese ... Also I forgot to buy some of Wendy's bookmarks. BTW --- Wendy ... do you make them for hardcovers too??? If so.... I'd need to buy a bunch of both. I had brought my hard cover books but with the crowd I left them in the car. Could I buy book plates from BW and ask you to sign them for me????

Started HOMEPORT as soon as I got home. Is Elizabeth's personality like Maeve's in the Born In series ... I already have a strong dislike for her. I got the shivers from her icy personality every time she appears on a page.

It was so great to meet the other BB/N .... Wendy ... Carolyn ... (I definitely want to spend more time with to get to know each other better -- but I can tell just in the few minutes we were together .... we'd be great friends) and Kim <and her wonderful family> We went for ice cream and had a great time together. I can hardly wait until TTP's Anniversary in July. I will definitely be there ... Hopefully my Mommy won't have any more emergency surgeries this coming summer to keep me away again.
