Well, I'll post from the San Bernardino signing.......I arrived at the mall around 6:00 in plenty of time to window shop before the signing, boy was I in for a shock. They were already lined up, books in hand, around the store. So I purchased a copy of Homeport for my ds birthday, got in line & waited for 7:00. After talking to the people around me, I found out that no one was from the boards, but me. When my turn came around 7:40 I gave Nora her M&M;'s & DP. She gladly signed my sisters book, and even when I whipped out my six other books to sign, she signed them as well. Mentioning she gladly signed because of the chocolate. I figured a bribe first wouldn't hurt. I got the ladies behind me to take a couple pix of me with Nora in exchange for taking their picture w/my camera with the promise I'd send them their copies. I can't believe what a nervous, stuttering idiot I was! But it was a great thrill to finally meet the Queen! I had to rush home to bore my husband with the details!
