Hi all ...
yes, the Chocolate Soup was everything that has been said ... and maybe more <G> ...
hummmm ... wonder if I can talk anyone into taking me back for my birthday <G> ... (no, it's not close ... just the only good reason for this wonderful dessert that i could think of! LOL)
>>The filet was great, the escargot was interesting, and good (yep -- I

Actually Sue ... it wasn't like Diane had a plate of the slimy lil' devils ... there were 4 (I think) on the plate as a "artistic" touch to the filet ... and about the time Nora told Diane what they were - I thanked the stars that i ordered the seafood!! LOL
Had escargot once ... and the only thing i have to say is "loved that garlic butter and bread!" ... LOL

Wym .... LOL ... and we really did it up right! ... on Monday Diane, Wyo and myself went to two signings to see Nora .... (boy, i bet she was glad to hit Houston today! not one of us were THERE! <WEG>) ...
as previously reported, we hit Colorado Springs to go with Martha and Julie (was great to meet you both!), and then headed back north to Denver for the signing at Tattered Cover. The C/S one was fun, 'cause it was a smaller indie in the afternoon - harder for those that work to attend, and that left time for us to chat with each other and Nora (and for Diane to get BOOKS signed ... LOL) ...
Then the Tattered Cover was fun 'cause Nora read the beginning of Homport to us ... And left us hanging at a "what happens next" part! LOL ... and then it was Q&A time - which Nora handled Beautifully ... with her trademark grace and humor ... at least we think the aforementioned "pact with Satan" was supposed to be humor <WEG>
