Hi Everyone,
I'm going to try this again. I sent a lengthy
post about my meeting with Nora on Friday night but
it didn't get to the board. Guess the AOL gremlins
were at work.
I don't know how successful the signing in
Gretna was because there were never many people in
line but when I told Nora my name I think she was
happy to see me. She was everything you all have
said. Gracious, friendly and bubbly. I got a big
hug from her.
Jim, my d./h was with me and he took lots of
pictures but I don't know how close the roll is to
being finished. I had Nora sign a copy of CM for my
niece. Then she told us Bruce was with her and we
talked to him for a while. Also ran into some old
friends who were shopping. We paid for CM and got
ready to leave and decided to go back and get a
picture of BW and Nora.. I definitely feel more a
part of the board since I have met Nora.
Now, I have to meet some more of you although
I've met Carolyn so that's another high point. How
to get her back here is another question.
Was disappointment the Wal Mart did not have
J.D. Robb books but that seems to be the way this
tour is going.
The funny thing is I thought I would be really
scared but I wasn't. It was like meeting an old
friend again.
I would love to know how many people attended
the signing because there was no advertising that I
saw except at the store itself.
It definitely was a wonderful meeting for me.
