What a difference a day makes.
Had myself a little lunch, a glass of wine, a
shower.
Feel better, but still fatigued.
Leave for signing. This Wal-Mart is out there,
which would have been tiring, but the scenery is so
great. Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helen's. And the escort
and I both like movies and have a good drive.
We're a little late because traffic was a bear.
Then I discover a new phenom. A Wal-Mart signing
that works! They did radio ads so people actually
know I'm there. Lovely crowd of friendly faces. The
staff and the distributor are enthusiastic and
efficient. Lovely job.
Then on the way out, the escort discovers I
smoke!!! Why, so does she. We bond and smoke on the
drive home. I'm back in my room by 8:15 and have
ordered a real meal though I'm not really hungry.
Am eating to keep up energy level, but I think I'll
manage to choke it down.
My room is quiet and no one's ringing my bell.
Ahhh. Food just arrived. Hot doggies.
