Have landed again.
BW and I had some time before we headed to the
airport, so we went into the new Harrah's casino
and lost 20 each. Took me a long time to lose mine
though at video poker. Decided not to play the
tables as I didn't want to interact. LOL. A slot
doesn't talk to you.
Then we moseyed down to the River Walk and sat
in the sun watching the riverboats.
A madhouse at the hotel as there's a convention.
BW had to go hunt down some of our checked baggage.
Then it happens they close the interstate on
weekends for roadwork. Just close a huge section of
that baby. We crept through detour traffic. By the
time we got to my gate, they were already boarding.
Quick bye-bye, and we parted ways.
My flight had a stop-over in Houston, but I
didn't even get off the plane. Change of crew and
we were off. Got into the hotel in San Diego about
eight PST. Called BW at home as agreed, and as his
plane hadn't left NO until two hours after mine
had, he'd just gotten back, too.
Really lovely room here, with two balconies and
a little kitchen. I always wonder who cooks in
places like this.
Fairly light day today. Should give me time to
adjust to the time zone.
