I'm back, I'm home. I have survived!!!
The last two signings in NJ were great. Liz and
I spent Wed in NJ, doing stock signings before the
formal. I think we laughed our way across the
state. Tough going getting up at five to do the
radio satellite tour on Thursday, especially after
getting back to the hotel at eleven on Wed night.
Dozed during a 30 minute break. But made up for it
with some shopping with Leslie, my editor.
Glitters!
Fueled up with pasta, then took a little
lie-me-down before heading back to NJ for the last
signing.
Up at five again to catch my plane. My driver on
this end didn't know the way and usually that
annoys me. But this one was so sweet and such a
gentleman, and SOOO charmed by driving in the
country I couldn't be. Plus I was on my turf again.
Great to see the store, to see BW, to see Dan
who was helping us out for the mass signing before
the retreat. Pretty dull of brain by that time, but
there were lots of us and lots of people and lots
of books to be signed.
The retreat's always good, and casual and more
relaxing than not. A nice way for me to wind down
and charge up with pals.
Home Sunday afternoon to see my very own house,
my very own dogs, my very own flowers which are
blooming.
Slept in my own bed last night. Life is good.
