Long day again. Headed straight for interview
from airport. I have a familiar escort here, who
I've been with several times before. Very
comfortable. We catch a DP and smoke and gossip.
I got a lovely bowl of chicken soup--while I
wrote this quick deal for an interview tomorrow
which is more of an author yammering about the
current book deal. Done it before. A couple of
minutes where you talk about your book. I can't do
that for that length of time without writing stuff
down.
Got more feedback on Time article--my mother was
steamed. LOL. My editor wasn't happy. BW was
incensed.
Bought a great pair of black platform sandals in
the hotel shop, then off the the signing at the
lovely David-Kidd. Fun crowd.
Luckily an earlier signing that usual so I can
get back here, organize for inhumanly early flight
to Cincy. Getting a little pizza from room
service--for my mom who is worried I'm not eating.
