My friend Melissa and I got to Third Place books
early and had dinner. While we were waiting for
Nora to arrive, I was looking around the crowd and
spotted a fellow Noraholic. Crystal (Fourftsq2). Of
course I wasn't positive it was her, so I went and
asked. I was relieved to be right.
Nora looked great as usual. She spent about 1/2
hour answering questions. Then signed a ton of
books for Crystal and I alone LOL! She said she had
a nice day today. The weather here is beautiful!
She said she felt rested, but that she was taking a
chance on Alaska Airlines again tomorrow and flying
to Spokane.
Crystal brought her some homemade Oreo cookies.
I brought her some homemade chocolate chip cookies,
some M & M's and a tote bag with Seattle on it
to carry all her goodies.
We all had a great time talking while waiting in
line. A lot of people showed up for the signing. A
few we all recognized from last year! It was great
to see everyone again, and I hope Nora will come
back again next year!
