Hi everyone. Here's a Little story about my trip to Boonsboro for the signing. OK If you read Dawn's story then you know my story, she pretty much covered it all! But, I have to at least give a little of my side of the experience.

OK first of all I rode with Dawn who I had never met and she just pm'd me and asked if I'd like to carpool since we are both from the same area. YES!!!!! I was so excited I had a stomach ache for days. We got little to no sleep and I loved it!!!!

We got up in the morning on Sat. and I was so nervous Tami and Dawn were just saying, "What a newbie you are!" LOL They were like wear what you want do what you want. "No Way! I'm meeting Nora Roberts today!!!" OK I admit I was a little crazed. We got there at 9:45 got numbers 14-16 and went in to buy our books. Oh MY Gosh! We got in a very long line to buy our books and I picked up two new In Deaths and a T-Shirt. I also grabbed a cute little bookmark that clips on the page that they had a display of on the counter. It never made it home I lost it. We went to Barnwood Books, then Asaro's for lunch and got back just in time to line up. AAAAUUUGGHH It's almost time! We got in line and I saw someone with a coffee mug-had to have one. So I grabbed that- paid for it at Stacie's register and we were almost there. Of course Dawn and Tami were totally relaxed and picking on me like crazy for being so nervous.

I got up to Nora and just said "Hi!" Totally didn't know what to say. Dawn intersepted my muteness and told Nora it was my first time and I was a fellow Adwoffer. I told Nora how Dawn and I had met on the board and she brought me all the way from Upstate NY. Nora actually talked to me about the board and then she noticed what book I had brought from home. She was showing the author next to her that the book was "The Last HOnest Woman" and that she was on the cover. She said something like,- That was a long time ago and me with all that blonde hair.!! Yeah! Ok so then Dawn took our Pic, and I was done. I didn't not hold up the line I only had the two books from home and the 2 I bought, oh yeah and the T-shirt and the uuuhhhh coffee mug and the picture taken with Nora....OK so maybe I did hold up the line a little...SORRY!!!!!

The photographer from the Washington Post was amazed that we'd come that far and took a pic of Dawn taking the Pic of Nora and me. He said maybe it would be in the paper. So if anyone sees it please save it for me. PLEASE!!!!!

So from this "no longer a Nora Booksigning virgin" I had a wonderful time. I met Nora and I made 3 new wonderful friends...Dawn (dawnqls) Tami (tamimcl) and her husband Ed. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

But most importantly- I'll see you all in July!!!!!!
