Signing Protocol

Are you going to see Nora while she's on tour? Here are some guidelines to follow—as written by Nora:

Why have limitations? Again, Nora's words—along with help from the ADWOFF Messageboard smilies—explain it best:
If I didn't do this not only would my hand fall off and cause me to , but other people waiting in line would soon start getting and some would .

And the event would last approximately the rest of our lives.

This is the downside of having a backlist of more than 100 books. It prevents me from cheerfully signing and personalizing all of a reader's cherished collection.

By keeping it to three for each round in line, and signature only, it keeps the line moving at a reasonable speed, gives everybody some signed books from their personal collection, and keeps me out of traction.

It's the best solution I can come up with for making sure everyone has a good time at an event.

We love having everybody come into TTP for our events, and when I'm on the road it's my biggest perk to see happy faces at a booksigning.

Unfortunately, even my buff and sturdy arm has physical limits--as does the patience of many who stand in line.

Nora

Seeing Nora on tour is such a great treat. It's highly recommended—especially if the signing includes a discussion and Q&A.

Nora loves to receive gifts, Diet Pepsi, chocolate, et al—just keep in mind that she is on the road!

If you do see Nora on tour, please tell us about it! Send tour reports to ADWOFF@aol.com; pictures are accepted, too. Please send them in either .jpg or .gif format.
