My, my, my. It’s Valentine’s Day, and
Bookie is so busy passing out Valentine wishes that
she almost forgot to buy her handsome, rich, lover
man a Valentine. But, of course, why would he want
a Valentine when he has moi! So, because Bookie is
a generous, not to mention, beautiful soul, she
will once again bestow Valentine wishes on all you
deserving lovers out there.
NoraRW … Bookie grants this lovely author a
life-size punching bag with a certain unnamed and
despicable so called author’s face pasted right on
top. Let her have it, Nora girl.
Greekkook … Bookie hears Miss Martha is working
out. Now, Bookie, who is blessed with a perfect
hourglass figure, who knows that the best exercise
is aerobic, and that the bed is a perfect place for
aerobic activity, wishes Martha some serious
Greekookie-nookie time to play doctor with her very
own doctor dh.
Crys1024 … Bookie received this Valentine wish
from Crystal … "I want my current crush to
acknowledge that I’m more than a friend.
<sigh>-Crystal …" Crystal, darling, don’t you
know that some of the most wonderful relationships
start out as friendships? Hang in there.
TBIDBook … It seems as if Jaci has trouble
finding a little time for romance <wink>
<wink> with her dh when she goes on vacations
(two teenage boys in the same room tends to do
that). So, for Jaci & her dh, Bookie can only
give one thing---a get-away cruise. See, Bookie's
been to Alaska on one of those ... and she knows
the passion that can make a dead man romantic on a
cruise boat (provided, of course, it's not the
Titanic and the dh is NOT dead!).
UnitW … Bookie’s Valentine wish for Arlene is to
get A's on all her tests, have a quiet peaceful
time and to find a wonderful person to share her
life with that treats her like a Queen.
MarkDowell ... Melissa deserves wild, passionate
sex with her dh ... so Bookie has arranged for them
to get away from everyone---at really cool, really
romantic hotel that caters for lovers and friends.
The bathtub? Puts the one that Julia Roberts swam
in in Pretty Woman to shame!
SueCBDR … Oh, if our dear Sue could but climb
into her huge bed on a dark and stormy night,
cuddle under the covers, and hear the voice next to
her whisper ... "Hi, I’m Dean Koontz ... and I’ve
been waiting for you."
MiladyJane … Lynda gets some lovely quality time
with everyone’s favorite hero, Roarke. Why? Just
because, that’s why, and she hasn’t done anything
to tick off Bookie ... Yet!
Marykpmc … Well, Bookie is just thrilled to have
this lovely author posting in Sanctuary, even if
she is a tad bit possessive of our Dan. (Bookie
knows Dan, you know … but she isn’t the type to
kiss and tell). So what does Mary Kay get? Why, a
contract with whatever book company she wants, of
course, with a HUGE advance, and a higher
percentage of book sales. Bookie is very good to
authors she reads and loves.
Sleeepey … A home visit from a new doctor who
sweeps her off her feet and sweeps all her bills
out the door.
Bon6788 … A quick peek into the future to see
that the twins sail through puberty and the teen
years with nary one fight and find Prince Charmings
of their own who will cherish them as Bon's dh
treasures her.

that has no connection to any police department ...
in fact, he's a dairy farmer ... with thousands of
cows!
Mrs.Jnean … Bookie grants Jeannine her
Valentine's wishes … flowers and a Precious Moments
figure.
TDahms ... This woman, who has it all, still
wants more! Ok, ok, so she’s had it rough lately.
She’s been sick, her delightful child was ill, but
she still has that great husband and all that sex!
Anyway, here is what Terri sent to Bookie for her
Valentine wish … "I wish just for some peace and
quiet, no sick kids, and no house work to be done
so I can just sit and read until I want to stop.
From Thom I want another poem. He wrote me one
about 2 years ago and it was the best present he
ever gave me because it came from his heart."
KWSLP … Without a doubt, Kim gets some
knowledgeable doctors and a well child. Not to
mention a little quality time with the dh in the
"love room".
JChagaris ... A smooth move, no lost boxes, and
the knowledge that Michigan is the perfect place
for her to live. I just hope she can keep that
Nancy D person in line and out of trouble with the
lawn boys. Or better yet, maybe Jonalyn will get
some lawn boys of her own. Just to look at, of
course. Bookie knows she is madly in love with her
DH.

Sherry do the talking for her Valentine wish. Here
you go! "Valentine’s Day is not just about hearts
and flowers, it is close to my Anniversary Feb. 12
and my dh always has something special planned. But
this year I would like for him to remember that
after 4 kids I don't have a sexy body to show off
in those little nighties he likes to buy me and go
for comfort. So I want something to sleep in that
is warm and not drafty. Soft ... like cotton ...
not lace or leather ... loose not binding. Let him
get something that barely covers his rear or chest
that is scratchy and binding. Forget those edible
underwear I want something I can wear all year and
sleep in without breaking out with a rash or wake
up in the morning without feeling like I am
strapped to the bed. Oh and just because red is for
Valentine give him a clue already RED IS NOT HIS

request ... "I want less kids in my classroom next
year, 33 is just too many in a room to feel like
I’m doing the best job I can." Well, this is all so
very noble, Nancy, but what about the deck boys,
and the lawn boys? Couldn’t you think of a wish
that would involve a little action? Bookie thinks
Nancy D is getting a little old.
Disambear … Diane sent in this wish: "I want
"Eric" to come visit me and stay a while.
<sigh> "(And Bookie wants to know who Eric
is?)
ITRUMAN … Irene has an interesting wish. She
wants to learn how to type faster " I get so
frustrated in the chat rooms when everyone’s
messages are just flying ... I also plan to lose
about 20 pounds! but , that’s secondary to the
typing ... priorities you know ..."
Jenn4Cubs ... The certainty of knowing when Mr.
Right is right, and some serious quality time with
the new little niece.
Spunkdunk ... Judy gets the gift of time … time
to read, time to play, time to sleep, and time
explore the book, "101 Nights of Great Sex".
Ottis5 … Ottis, who is not a picky Valentine
person, gets her own personal assistant at work …
about 6’2", well formed, nice and young, with lots
and lots of energy, if you get Bookie’s drift. Oh,
and no chocolate, says Ottis, until the allergy
thing is cleared up.
Hippoweb … Wendy gets a three week paid
vacation, a trip to Cancun, and an ARC of the new
In Death book. Why? Because Bookie likes her best,
that’s why.
Frolic ... Hmmm ... since Prince Charming is a
prince year round, perhaps a phone call from her
agent saying, "They sold!!!" would get Frolic's
heart a pumpin'.
WhannW ... Only one wish ... and not even for
herself ... it would be for her best friend Mary to
come through her ordeal with flying colors.
CarolynSB … To smile, gaze into the eyes of a
man too handsome for his own good, and whisper ...

TraceyOD … This one is soooooo easy for moi. For
Tracey, a man named McAllister or Mackenzie or
MacNeill or even Sinclair. who will wear a kilt

what is taking those idiots so long to figure this

wants "to meet the gentleman that will sweep me off
my feet ... well, not literally! ..." And if that
isn’t possible she says, "ok ... if ya can't pull
that one off ... how about the Av's going to the
Stanley Cup finals again ... What do ya mean you
can't help on that one ... geesshhhh ... ok, then
how about world peace? ... <VBG>" Bookie
thinks Debby needs a very long vacation! In a very
quiet place with lots of white walls.
JSchriefer … Bookie likes Wicked. She likes
anyone who can keep Jenn in line. So, for Kathy …
the winning numbers in the lottery, in advance of
course!
KTD777613 … Katie wants so very little for
Valentine’s Day. Just a degree in something, a job
that makes lots of money, a trip to TTP in July,
and to be able to attend Nora’s book-signings in
St. Louis and Chicago. Now why is it Bookie likes
this girl so much? Oh yes, larceny, that’s it!
Tfalocco … Vicky has some very basic needs for
Valentine’s Day. "I want 6 months in the Bahamas so
I can sit and read all my Nora books. Tom is taking
me to Mardi Gras instead I don’t think I’m gonna
get the 6 months." Now, Vicky, where is the wish
for champagne and chocolate, too? And what about a
handsome cabana boy to rub oil on your back?
Lareeth … A great time in England, no rain, lots
of quality shopping time, and some great ALONE time
with the DH. Now if that doesn’t butter your scone,
I don’t know what will!
TheEgoBoy … Dear sweet Julian, who thinks that
Bookie is some kind of mind reader rather than the
stunning journalist she really is, gets cookies.
Tons and tons of cookies of every kind. Oh, and he
also gets some "in depth" time with each of the
bakers, who know the "proper" way to butter a pan.
Margogo … Margo deserves nothing but the best
... a romantic setting w/her SO ... candlelight ...
flowers ... soft music ... slow, dirty dancing in
his arms ... and a bed blanketed with rose petals
(ala Born in Ice) ... and the knowledge that her
lover cherishes her more than he loves to breathe.
Brave Joker ... For Julie, a winning baseball
season for the Auburn team, and when she gets home,
the player of her choice waiting by the door, with
his VERY BIG bat, ready to show Julie how to hit
some serious RBIs. And, hey, he’ll be carrying some
roses and candy and cards, just for the romance of
it!
LHelvie … For reasons that will become apparent
soon enough, Bookie grants lovely Laura a new
sewing machine, some quality time for herself, and
a place of honor on Bookie’s list of the nicest and
most talented people in the world.
