It’s Christmas time, and Bookie is so full of
the holiday spirit that she has been shopping,
shopping, shopping and buying some of the most
beautiful things, and they’re all for her! You
know, her motto is, "Me, me, me, it’s all about
me".
But since this is the season for giving, Bookie
has come up with a list of Board Broad gifts that
she thinks should be under each Broad’s tree come
Christmas morning.
NoraRW … A stalker detector that activates
whenever a certain you-know-who is around.
Greekkook … Six months free of any family
injuries, bruises, or boo-boos of any kind.
TBIDBook … An atlas containing several maps if
the Pennsylvania/Maryland/West Virginia area, as
well as estimated driving times.
UnitW … Some free time to soak the tub with some
bubbles (both the champagne and soap varieties),
and a juicy new In Death book.
KraftyGal ... A live in maid to clean, cook, and
do the laundry during her recuperation. Oh, hell,
she can keep the maid forever.
MarkDowell … Some quality time for herself … no
kids allowed ... with unlimited access to Nora’s
books, both past and present.
SueCBDR … Access to Nora’s computer disks for
all of her upcoming manuscripts, or ARCs if all of
Nora’s books for the next year.
Sleeepey … The answers to the bar exam in all 50
states ... to bail out the other broads.
MamaKRB ... A Michigan win at the Rose Bowl ...
whatever that is!
Bon6788 … A ladder with a safety net, just in
case the dh needs to climb again.
Anonym2857… New quilting needles for her sewing
machine. I hear she wore out all her others making
the BB/N quilt.
Tdahms ... She doesn’t get anything! This girl
has the the perfect dh, great kids, and has good
sex too and she expects a gift??? Oh please!
JChagaris ... A stress free move, with lots of
handsome intelligent moving men, and nothing
broken.
ND4Oldies … A young, strapping lawn boy, very
nicely wrapped, of course.
Disambear … A CD Rom for her truck ... good news
at her visits to the doctor ... an unlimited
allowance for one year for romance books.
Jenn4Cubs ... A frequent flyer pass to visit a
certain fireman in Texas, and a fire extinguisher
to put out any fires they might start.
Spunkdunk ... A sizable pay raise to fit the new
diploma hanging on her wall.
Ottis5 … A handsome stranger on her doorstep …
sent just for her to use in whatever way she sees
fit … and my, how he will fit!
Hippoweb ... Well, Bookie knows what Wendy
really wants, and hopes that it happens soon. But,
Bookie also gives Wendy all of the first class
flights for a year, with Mel Gibson on at least 5
of them.
WhannW ... The book ... "How to Off Your Boss in
Three Easy Lessons."
CarolynSB … A job flying the friendly skies ...
and an event planner to help her with THE EVENT II.
TraceyOD … One job, not two, with a substantial
raise in pay, along with a travel book listing all
of the rest rooms from her house to Sue’s ... You
know Sue is never going to let her use hers!
Wymzee ... a publisher with a brain to see the
gift that is under their noses.
SnowBearDM … A free visit to White River,
Ontario Canada, birthplace of Winnie the Pooh,
during their International Pooh festival.
JSchriefer … A gift subscription to the
magazine, "The Cinderella Step-Mother Digest"
KTD777613 ... A gift box of term papers for her
classes, all 4.0 caliber.
BookPgWyo … The gift of rest ... she will need
it after dealing with all of the board broads.
BookPgLiz ... The gift of patience, patience,
patience! She will need it in the next few months.
TheEgoBoy … Some underwear to wear during chats.
Naked chats are allowed only when Bookie is
present.
Margogo … An AOL paycheck. The way she can
research the web, she deserves to be paid.
Brave Joker ... Whatever Julie wants … she
deserves it! I’m thinking it has two legs … tall,
handsome ... Hmmmm
LHelvie … an easy pregnancy and free babysitting
from Sue.
Now, I know I’ve left out lots of you Noraholics
… and you are probably whining about it. Well, get
over it! Bookie isn’t going away, and there are
always Valentine gifts you know.
