Wow! After a long journey, ADWOFF #8 is FINALLY ready! <g> We sincerely hope that you enjoy our latest efforts.

ADWOFF has undergone a few changes. We have a MASCOT! <g> We have a new column, The Phantom. And, of course, we have our old stand-bys, Bookie (that bitch!), Wyt & Wysdom, M.O.M., and, of course, R.O.A.R.K.E.

As always, I cannot thank the hard work, effort, and talents of several BB/Ns who helped to put ADWOFF together. Ottis? You are without doubt, absolutely sensational! Not only did she help scan pictures sent to her from BB/Ns all over the U.S., but she also created some FABulous graphics---including our Mr. Wolf (see above!). Ottis lives in Illinois, and often times, Wym and I pulled her in two separate directions. Speaking of Wym, as always, her wonderfully talented fingerprints & voice are all over this issue of ADWOFF. Why the hell won't some publisher recognize her talents & give this lady a chance at publication? Yeah, I'm a little prejudiced, but sheesh! The lady has talent! ADWOFF hoodwinked JJ into providing us our newest Man of the Month. If you'd like to try your talents---and you'd like to highlight one of Nora's many men---contact us here @ ADWOFF. Bookie? 'Nuff said! ;-) (We cannot feed that ego too much!)

In this issue of ADWOFF, we also are able to enjoy the remarkable talents of BB/Ns not only on AOL, but also via the internet. One of our BB/Ns to the North, Wendy, has been after ADWOFF for a long time for an interactive board so that she & others can play along, too. Wendy? ADWOFF will try its darndest to keep up with the messageboard. Things have been crazy, but for those of you who have submitted to the ADWOFF messageboard, our goal is to have those messages posted by the weekend of May 9 ... and to keep up! <g>

For all of you ladies who participated in ADWOFF this time around---whether it be pictures or posts that we borrowed or essays---thank you, thank you, thank you. Without your efforts, ADWOFF would be what it is.

Nora? As always, this issue of ADWOFF is for you ... it's just one very small way that we can show our appreciation for all you do for us. Congratulations on the tremendous successes you've had in 1998 ... we're not half-way through the year yet, and you've had best-selling books after best-selling books. Already the anticipation is growing for Rising Tides ... to be released this July. ADWOFF thinks it's going to be your BIGGEST HIT YET!
