T'was the night before Christmas
And all through the land
Not a creature was stirring
'Cept a crazed Nora fan.
Her books were all stacked
On the floor with abandon,
In no special order,
Just put there at random.
This Board Broad was nestled
All snug in her bed.
With visions of Roarke
Dancing nude in her head.
And all other Broads,
From east coast to west,
Dreamed of the hero
That each loved the best.
When out on the lawn
There arose mass confusion.
The mulch boy was down,
With a bruise and contusion.
Away to the window
The Broad flew in a snap,
She pulled up the shade and yelled,
"What is all that crap?"
The streelight up high
Shined a light on the lawn,
And made the night look
As if it were dawn!
Then who to the Broad's wondering eyes
Should show up?
But Rafe, Josh, and Gage -
Holding champagne and cups.
And there, in the flesh,
As fresh as the flora,
A red-headed woman,
My Gosh - It's our NORA!
With a smile on her face,
She strode into the home,
Working old magic,
With a wink and a phone.
Get HOT ICE, UNTAMED,
Where's A WILL AND A WAY?
I need NIGHTSHADE and SKIN DEEP,
Where are those MACKADES?
Climb up on that bookshelf,
Now get down on the floor,
Find them, please find them,
I need more, more, MORE.
The Broad Board collected
Every book she could find.
And never thought once
That the Queen'd lost her mind.
So, Nora worked magic,
And with a sly look,
She tripled the piles,
And quadrupled the books.
She packed them all up
In a big, giant sack,
And handed them to a
Dakota named Jack.
And then they were off
Nora, Gage, Josh & Jack,
And Rafe helped drag out
The now filled up sack.
But I heard Nora say
As they strode out of sight,
Merry Christmas, Dear Broads,
And to All a good night.
