BROAD SURVEY

Did you know that two of the board broads love
Barbies? Or that two hate brussel sprouts? Two even
hate okra. Lol. Personally, I love okra and think
she's a helluva talk show host!
Thanks to all twenty-seven of you who sent me
information about who and what you are. The survey
was informal, and the results posted here reflect
that. Next time, perhaps there will be an
"official" questionnaire. But for now I can make
some sweeping generalizations about The BB/N's.
On the subject of M & M's - plain or peanut
- those who stated a preference were evenly
divided. We drink all kinds of soda from Mountain
Dew to Pepsi (Diet or otherwise) and from Coke to
Dr. Pepper. There are more cat owners than dog
owners (at least of those who responded) and one of
us loves Cows. Isn't that moovelous!
We are loyal Nora Roberts readers ... but a few
other authors catch our attention. The names most
often cited? Linda Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz, and
Julie Garwood. And as much as we love to read, we
HATE to clean house. Married or single, we love
talking online, traveling, music of all kinds,
Italian food and CHOCOLATE in way shape or form.
Finally, what endeared me most to the Broad
Respondees, was their common hobby (well, for
sixteen of the twenty-seven who mentioned it). Want
to guess what it is? It involves a sleek, pointed
object. The object moves in and out, up and down,
and sometimes even side to side. <shaking
head> I can't believe how many of you ladies
like to SEW. Whether it's doing crafts or cross
stitch (counted or otherwise) or just sewing, you
guys DO IT A LOT. :-)
That may be a very good subject to explore in a
follow-up survey. Maybe early next year? Anyone
want to volunteer for the job of creating a
questionnaire? Speak up now. Don't be shy. But
remember ... if you raise your hand, the job's
yours!
