Treasures Lost, Treasures Found
UPDATE
by
Nina (aka
Wymzee)
Next month the name of
this column will be changed. In July's issue it
will be called, Honest Illusions. ROFL. Let me
explain. I honestly believed that I would receive
tons of e-mail, from Noraholics across the land,
requesting help in locating all the old books they
couldn't find. That belief, it appears, was an
illusion.
Since I have not received
ANY requests (not one, nada, zip, zilch, zero. Hmm
... maybe it's me!), I can only surmise that you
all have been able to find your treasures on your
own.
Far from being a sad state
of affairs, this is wonderful news. After all, the
purpose of TLTF was to place a Nora Roberts book in
the hand (and, subsequently, in the heart) of
everyone in America. Oh? But I thought you all knew
that was my plan. Lol. Perhaps then, this will be a
good place to list available sources for finding
books on the internet, by mail, or by phone.
We already have the
address for Hard
To Find Books,
but here it is again.
And here is an 800 number
for Nina's Books in San Diego (NO, IT'S NOT ME -
but Nina is my friend.) The number is
1-800-324-9530. She carries new and used books, but
we're all getting our new books from
Turn
the Page,
right? RIGHT! Nina's used books are in various
conditions, but she does not sell at collectible
prices. They are half the original cover price,
plus shipping and handling.
Please e-mail me with
other web sites or addresses of romance friendly
books stores, establishments that are smart enough
to carry Nora's books - new or classic (doesn't
that sound better than old?).
Till next time. Happy
Reading.
Nina has started a new
business in which she will search for those
hard-to-find books. To find out more
information, e-mail her @ nina4books@aol.com
