TTP V (& TTP IV, Revisited)
Hard to believe that the TTP "event" is here yet again! To get a taste of last year's TTP and get a great feel for Harold's B&B (where our luncheon is again this year), please check out
>> Snapshots from TTP IV << This year, the even has already began as BB/Ns have traveled to Frederick Holiday Inn. On Friday (<gulp>), July 13, many more will arrive, too.
On Saturday, from 1 to 3, we will descend upon TTP to help them celebrate their sixth anniversary. We are especially excited for MK -- Mary Kay McComas, as she will be signing Necessary Changes -- her first book since Loveswept went out of business. We'll also get a chance to see and talk with Gaff -- Pat Gaffney. Both are favorites of ADWOFF and BB/Ns everywhere.
On Sunday, starting at 12 (noon), we will be treated by Harold in this fashion:
He will be having us come in the side door and we will go to a 'mingling' area for champagne and mimosas. The dinner will be held in the front area where the salon normally is. All of the furniure, etc will be cleared out of there for us. This way, we will be able to see each other better during dinner, since last year we were in two separate rooms with the hallway in between. Then after dinner, our chairs will be moved into the rooms from last year, we won't have to fool with the tables being in the way.
Dinner will be grilled chicken, cucumber salad, green beans with almonds, and (I think) potatoes. There will also be a dessert - I think he said a cookie with ice cream or sherbert.
Harold is very excited about this; I think he has really outdone himself this year.
