ADWOFF Acknowledgments
I had every intention
of having ADWOFF #12 in your Internet Christmas
stocking on Christmas morning, but then again, I
still have Christmas presents to send out ... from
last year's
Christmas.
(Oh, and Christmas cards from two
years ago!) In fact, extra special thanks &
credit must go to Ottis ... that wonderful ADWOFF
Christmas logo on the front page? Ottis designed
that ... for
last year's Christmas issue that didn't
happen. :-(
Thank you so much, Ottis, for not only designing
it, but having the smarts to keep it in a safe
place for this Broad to come asking for!
Needless to say, it's
a wonder any of these ADWOFFs get put out
(stop that thought right there, Wym! ;-). Yet one
of the comments I keep seeing at ADWOFF is for more
updates. Guess what one of my New Year's
resolutions will be for 2000? <g>
Still, somehow, some
way, we have managed to put together ADWOFF #12,
and as usual, the credit goes to those who made
contributions--including those who completed those
pesky assignments from TTP III and for the 12 Days
of Roberts, Katie (for M.O.M.), Bookie (the divine
one), Phyllis (the Phantom), and Wym (our
incredibly gifted talent who awes me with
everything she writes). Thanks also has to go to
Nora--for inspiring us with not only her wondrous
story-telling abilities but also with her
generosity in the giving of her time to us.
We also have
contributions from the Brats--something I think
we'll see more of in 2000. Which is a good thing.
Really. It is. Dammit! Would I lie? (Not in this lifetime
when it comes to the Brats!)
It is hard to believe
that another year is almost finished ... not only a
new year is around the corner, but also a brand-new
spanking CENTURY! Not such a bad thing to consider when
we realize that we'll be that much closer to when
Roarke and Eve roam our earth.
As we approach the
dawning of the new century and the beginning of our
THIRD YEAR of ADWOFF (how shocking is that?!), we
here at ADWOFF would like to thank each and every
one of you, our readers, for visiting with us and
sharing in our enthusiasm for Nora and her stories.
As we approach the
year 2000, the dawning of a new decade and century
(I hesitate to say, Millennium, since the purists say that
won't be here for another year! ;-), we wish you
all the very best ... not just in cyberspace, but
IRL as well. And as Nora begins her third decade of
writing, we can only hope for the beginning of
another 130+ stories to warm our hearts (and beds
on those cold & lonely nights ;-) ... for more
families to laugh and cry with ... and most of all,
LOVE.
