I meant to close the old DC ADWOFFers thread earlier because it was getting kind of large, and I forgot. So I want to get it done now before I forget again. Here are the two most recent posts from the old thread... Originally posted by Lee: Hey there, anyone want to get together on June 30th at 7 pm at Borders in White Flint to see Bubbles? I'm going, love this series, lol. A Fun read. But I'm not wearing a blond wig, nope no way....
and my response... Originally posted by Ke77kat: Maybe, I'll let you know. This is going to depend on two things. One, if I have managed to get a second job by then, and what my schedule for said job is... and two - I believe that my best friend will be in town at that time, so she'd have to be willing to come along.
As I said, I'll let you know!
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... :cutewink:

Hi everyone! :check-out-smile:
So, I guess my question is this: Does anyone have any advice for a newbie to such an event? I was also looking around, and didn't see a posting of the entire weekend's event schedule...
Edited to say: Hmmm...now I'm wondering if maybe this would be better off in the Thread devoted to the event... Would any lovely Mods care to move it there?

Thanks for the responses! I was away the past two days so I didn't get the messages until today. I plan on going. I worked up the courage! :cutewink: I definitely think it will be a good time, and I can't wait to meet everyone and to see the baskets everyone keeps talking about. I haven't decided on the hotel yet, but hopefully I still have a little time to make a decision on that... Thanks again for the support and I'll see you guys there!

Believe it or not, I was nervous about going last year. I even changed my mind a few times and and I almost didn't go. I am sooo glad that I went because I can honestly say that last year's TTP weekend rates in the top 3 best times of my life. [/QB] It is hard to remember that last year was your first time. I mean this in a good way. It seems like you have been around the group forever. Can't wait to see everyone, getting excited.

Lee, I'm sorry, I don't think I'll be able to make it on the 30th...
But maybe all of us can get together again some other time?

Hey Geets!!!!
Well, last time I saw part of the group at a Lisa signing/sighting, we discussed doing Maggiano's in King of Prussia again. I don't know when, but thought that I would get the discussion going. Now that the construction is done in the area, it is much easier getting into the mall location.
I am available the last two weekends in August. September is still fairly open as well.
Besides, I am about due for another chocolate martini, doncha know!?

September sounds great to me too. The weekends of the 11/12 or 18/19 would be the best for me. Maggiano's in KOP sounds fantastic. I still have dreams about their fried zucchini, eggplant parmesan, and chocolate cake. Yum!!!

...hmmm, the weekend of the 18/19 sounds good to me. The dear bf might be taking me to NC to see my grandmother the 11/12, so that weekend would be iffy.
So far, sounds like the weekend of Sept. 18th or 19th? If yes, which day works better?

Well I can't do the weekend of the 18/19, my sister is getting my nephew christened that weekend. Which is too bad cause i would have liked to have seen you guys all again, so you'll have to eat some chocolate cake and have a drink for me,lol.

Oooh! How do I miss this stuff? Oh, wait, I have to actually work at work. I'm down! But not for 9/12, since that's the OVCA walk. So I can do 9/11, 9/18, or 9/19. Yay!!
